George Gaudy: The Beast,

Τρίτο κατά σειρά single, έπειτα από τα "Little Pieces" και "Bitter Princess Isabella", από τον Αθηναίο George Gaudy, ο οποίος τα τελευταία χρόνια ζει και εργάζεται στο Λονδίνο. Το κομμάτι ονομάζεται "The Beast" και έρχεται λίγες μέρες πριν την κυκλοφορία του νέου δίσκου του Γιώργου Γουδή, ο οποίος θα ονομάζεται "Little Pieces" και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 2 Απριλίου. Σύμφωνα με τα λόγια του ίδιου του Γιώργου στη σελίδα του στο facebook, πέρασε από το μυαλό του να αναβάλλει την κυκλοφορία του λόγω της πανδημίας του κορωνοϊού: "Σκέφτηκα πολύ σοβαρά να αναβάλλω την κυκλοφορία του καινούριου album - τι νόημα έχει να κυκλοφορήσεις κάτι μέσα σε μια παγκόσμια πανδημία και η σειρά των παρουσιάσεων που είχα κλείσει αναβλήθηκε ή και ματαιώθηκε, θα ξέρουμε όταν τελειώσει όλη αυτή η ιστορία. Για εμάς τους μουσικούς αυτή η ανατάραξη απειλεί αυτό που κάνουμε σε ριζικό επίπεδο - οπότε αποφάσισα να προχωρήσω κανονικά. Στις 2 Απριλίου τα υπόλοιπα"
Το άρτι αφιχθέν "The Beast" είναι μια υπέροχη καλοφτιαγμένη μπαλάντα με καταπληκτικούς στίχους. Το ακούμε στο ριπίτ και περιμένουμε το άλμπουμ. Αύριο (28/3), όμως, στις 20.30 ο George Gaudy θα εμφανιστεί ζωντανά στο YouTube κανάλι της United We Fly, στα πλαίσια του "Stay Home Sessions - Live Streams Cocooning Edition" (check event here).
