Άκουσα το Jesus Alone
και με ψιλοπήρε από κάτω...
(Νικόλα δεν είσαι μόνος)
Δεν μπορώ να γράψω πολλά για το νέο κομμάτι του Cave. Και δεν ξέρω αν θα μπορέσω να το κάνω και για το δίσκο, όταν αυτός θα κυκλοφορήσει την ερχόμενη Παρασκευή, 9 Σεπτεμβρίου. Δεν θέλω να πω πως το -βαρύ κι ασήκωτο- background (check το άρθρο Πώς Είσαι ρε Νικόλα; [Οι Γκρεμοί του Brighton]) αυτής της κυκλοφορίας θέτει αυτομάτως το επερχόμενο Skeleton Tree υπεράνω κριτικής, γνώμης κλπ. Απλά εγώ θα το βουλώσω και θα το ακούσω σαν να άκουγα τα κομμάτια ενός φίλου μου που αποφάσισε να κάνει μουσική και στίχους τον θρήνο του, την τραγωδία του. Δεν θα του έλεγα "κάνε εκείνο, κάνε το άλλο, δεν μ'αρέσει το τάδε κομμάτι κλπ". Θα άκουγα μόνο και θα ένιωθα ευγνώμων που μου εμπιστεύτηκε την ιστορία του...
Αυτό έκανα και με το Jesus Alone (πρόσεξε το λογοπαίγνιο: "Je Suis Alone"): το άκουσα ως τώρα περίπου 20 φορές και ένιωσα τον πόνο και το ζόφο της ψυχής του Cave με νότες και λόγια. Τα λόγια. Έχουν την ιδιαίτερη σημασία τους, γι'αυτό και τα παραθέτω όλα παρακάτω:
