Johnny Marr
Άκου το "Bright Parade"
Σε δημιουργικό ρεσιτάλ φαίνεται ότι βρίσκεται ο Johnny Marr. To 2018 μας έδωσε έναν πραγματικά καλό δίσκο, το "Call the Comet" (15/6/2018), ενώ νωρίτερα φέτος (02/2019) μας χάρισε ένα ακόμα κομμάτι, το “Armatopia”.
Πλέον ήρθε η ώρα για μια ακόμα κυκλοφορία από τον Johnny, ο οποίος έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα ένα ακόμα τραγούδι, το "The Bright Parade", το οποίο έχει μια shoegaze εσάνς, φυσικά τρομερές κιθάρες και μια μάλλον χορευτική μπασογραμμή.
Ο ίδιος ο Johnny Marr δήλωσε για το τραγούδι: “Maybe I’ve been quite preoccupied with the cosmos over the last couple of years but it’s the perfect metaphor for the star system — whether that’s a rock star or a movie star or a reality TV star. I think half my mind was still in the cosmos and the other half was around these vacuous modern day reality stars. ‘The Bright Parade’ puts the two together and puts it on top of a psychedelic backing track.”
